Whole 30 Day 1

August 4th marked the start of another Whole 30 round. I headed to Costco and our produce stand to stock up on yummy ingredients for this week's meals.

Day 1-- Rest day. Was very tired and dealing with an unhappy gut from all the dining out while traveling last week/weekend. Beyond tired!


Breakfast- Sunny-side up egg, sauteed (in spicy chili olive oil) baby arugula with pumpkin seeds, an orange and a big mug of coffee with full fat coconut milk.
Snack-(not pictured) black plum
Lunch-tuna salad (canned wild tuna,guacamole, spices, heirloom tomatoes) with plantain chips.
Snack-(not pictured) handful of macadamia nuts
Dinner- Grilled glazed salmon, grilled green beans,grilled chard, grilled asparagus and grilled pineapple (are you feeling the grill theme?). SO yummy!
