Cow Porn and Trail Running

 This morning I got up around 6, had a muffin with some coffee, got dressed and headed out to meet up with a few of my peeps from the MoHo Runners club. We had lots of lively conversation in the car while headed there and back. I have enjoyed the social aspect of running with fellow runners again. That's something I'dve missed with all the lifting I've been doing. It's nice to have peeps to chat with. Makes the miles go more quickly. I got in 7.23 miles total with some nice hill work. I love running on the trails. It's rejuvenating and you have to be aware in a way that you don't have to be on flat paved surfaces.

 Got home, ate breakfast, showered and totally bottomed out. I feel so beyond wiped out right now. I need to do some research on eating the way I eat and running. Typically in the past I started eating carb chews for anything over 6 miles. Need to find a Whole 30 compliant sub. Any ideas? Speaking of Whole 30..Hubby decided it's time to join me finally so I'll be extending mine out...no biggie. I like eating this way. I might cave and eat peanut butter at some point but otherwise, I'll be the model Whole 30 participant. Today, I don't even miss wine. GASP!!!

 Still REALLY thinking hard about signing up for another half marathon. I think I'm going to experiment with adding in more mileage to see what my body thinks. If I can maintain the bit of muscle mass I have and my body doesn't freak out, then I might go for it. Maybe something in November to celebrate my 41st birthday? :)
